The Subcommittee provides unbiased and authoritative views and reports on biophysico-chemical processes in environmental systems through its activities mainly consisting in IUPAC divisional, and interdivisional promoted projects. Projects undertaken are of various nature, including preparation and publication of books, technical reports and recommendations, and organization and/or scientific/technical support to workshops and conferences on environmentally relevant topics. The persons involved in the Subcommittee project activities are scientists, researchers and professionals from industry and government of internationally renowned expertise on the project subject topics.
