The Sub-committee promotes projects on the chemistry of atmosphere, soil and water and maintains links with the industry and other international bodies. Members of the sub-committee coordinate projects and represent the Division in interdivisional committees and other organizations. Ongoing activity includes degradation, bio-availability and accumulation of chemicals, remote monitoring, codes of practice and modeling of processes.
