The sub-committee aims to provide authoritative reports and comments on food safety, food components, food analysis and food chemistry and the consequences for human health. Projects are undertaken on relevant topics and periodic workshops may be organized. The personnel involved in projects are from a wide range of nations and expertise including the food industry, universities, food research institutes and government.
