From 6-10 April 2001, a workshop was held in Kunming, China. The maintopic was the discussion of the draft recommendation developed at theBangkok workshop (see project 3/1/99 and ChemInt. 22(3),May 2000 for workshop report).

Thisproject was presented at a postersession at the IUPAC Congress/GA July 2001

The views of the Chinese scientific experts and governmental participantswere useful in introducing the necessary modifications in the recommendationsin order to make them suitable for broader application.

Project completed - IUPAC Technical Report published in PureAppl. Chem.Vol. 74(4), 697-702, 2002, and featured in Chem.Int.Sep.2002, p. 23
