The intent of this volume is to update and reprint Experimental Thermodynamics Volume V, Equations of state for Fluids and Fluid Mixtures (ISBN-10: 0444503846) and first published in Oct 2000. This text is out of print and because it was in two volumes with 928 pages was not always accessible to the intended practitioners within academia, government and industry.
The revised edition will expand the principal approaches for developing equations of state with a practical bias while retaining the theoretical basis. The emphasis of application and use will be expanded over the previous version as will the strength and weaknesses of each approach. The discussion on self - assembled systems has been removed and a chapter concerning chemically reacting systems added.
