Objective:
To avoid confusion between various useages of the term "uncertainty" in chemical analysis.
Description:
Literature review has shown the term 'uncertainty" is used to express separate concepts in reporting results of chemical analysis. To avoid confusion the term must be clearly defined and explained.
Progress:
The project was discussed in Berlin and is in progress. A draft of this project is currently preparation for evaluation by commission V.1.
