Progress:
The preliminary study was successful (1994) and a full collaborative study was carried out. The text of the final report is in preparation, incorporating miniaturization of the column chromatography step.
In August 1999, a revised version of the methods was presented by Dr. C. Dobarganes, and accepted by the Commission. A manuscript entitled: 'The determination of polar compounds, polymerized and oxidized triacylglycerols, and diacylglycerols in oils and fats. Results of collaborative studies and the standardized method" is being finalized for publication in Pure Appl. Chem.
