Project Details:
Nomenclature, Properties and Units of Trace Elements
| Project No.: | 710-28-95 |
| Start date: | 1995-01-01 |
| End date: | 1999-12-31 |
| Division: | Chemistry and Human Health Division |
Objective:
Trace elements constitute an important part of toxicology, environmental sciences and clinical chemistry. However, there is not any international standard on the syntax, nomenclature and units related with the properties of trace elements. Thus, the involvement of IUPAC in the production of a recommendation on this matter will be very helpful to the scientific community.
