Molecular and Nanoscale Systems for Energy Conversion
1–3 October 2007
Moscow, Russia
The
international conference and exhibition Molecular
and Nanoscale Systems for Energy Conversion (MEC-2007)
will be held 1–3 October 2007 in Moscow, Russia. Advanced
systems for energy conversion based on alternative molecular
and nanoscale materials will play a significant role in meeting
future energy challenges. These materials will be especially
important for solar energy conversion, hydrogen technologies,
advanced catalytic technologies, and biofuels. This meeting
aims to bring together scientists and technologists working
in fundamental and applied areas to discuss recent achievements
in, and the future of, alternative energy. In addition, the
meeting will include an exhibition showcasing the latest industrial
technological achievements in the above-mentioned fields.
The conference will feature the following main topics:
- molecular systems for photovoltaics
- nanoscale systems for photovoltaics and energy conversion
- biomimetics
- fuel cells
- catalysis for energy conversion
- biofuels
- biotechnologies for energy conversion
The conference will take place at the Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow.
Oral and poster contributions are now being accepted. Poster sessions will be an important part of the program.
