INCE is a medium for international information exchange concerning chemical education. It reaches NAO's, NR's, IUPAC bodies, related organisations and individuals. It also brings IUPAC to the attention of many educators who would not otherwise be aware. IUPAC recommendations likely to be of interest to educators can also be disseminated through INCE.
Only one issue, no. 45 appeared during 1997. It was dedicated to
articles on small-scale chemistry. There were delays in publishing
and distribution connected with the change of editors. Future issues
will be electronically distributed, supplemented by local printing
as required.

In 2000, this activity became the e-journal of Chemical Education International.
