To issue an IUPAC document recommending nomenclature and terminology for ordered microporous and mesoporous materials: zeolites and similar materials.

Progress
Several drafts have been discussed and the title of the document has been revised to: 'Nomenclature of structural and compositional characteristic of ordered microporous and mesoporous materials'.

New coordinator, replacing K.K. Unger and R.A. Schoonheydt.

The revised document is submitted to public review comments until 31 October 2000 > see provisional recommendations
