The IUPAC projects have been included with another initiative giving rise to a win-win situation. The book will contain the projects 524/2/91, 524/3/91, 524/4/91 and 524/5/91 and adds to these 10 other chapters. The original objectives of the WG on quality assurance in trace analysis is achieved thus in a very effective manner.
